“Cobalt, a color of ingenuity and enlightenment, represents the unconventional artist within me ...Its electrifying impact is visible in the multilayered complex pieces which add a contemporary twist to my work.”
Human figure is one of the most complex forms to study and master. Repeated quick studies from life and photographic references are like warm up sessions for an artist which leads to intense and careful observation enabling an artist to capture the intricacies of this complex subject in a fluid manner. The posture, movement, balance and complexities combined together is what adds charm and intoxication to the subject of human forms. My paintings are a narrative style of figurative work. While Alice in Renaissance takes the viewer into a surreal world, A Chapter is a nostalgic narration of my life.
